In the year 1974 they officially passed and published the municipal head foundation, however this ended up being a camp, where the first people that established here came from other states of the country with the intent of exploiting chicle and wood. This
camp was 50 km from Peto, Yucatan, that is why it is called 50 km Camp.
Some activities that you can enjoy here are visit the two cenotes located 7 to 15 km away.
